Coalition for Water Security Events: Water Forums

Follow the Water! (October 27, 2009 at CCRI Warwick) This forum featured Alisa Richardson, principal engineer with the R.I. Department of Environmental Management (DEM), who discussed how much water Rhode Island has and where it is located.  Richardson described DEM’s work to assess how much water flow is needed to protect the basic functioning of Rhode Island's rivers and streams, and identified which of Rhode Island watersheds are already under stress from over-withdrawals.
